The movie, The French Dispatch by the director is a delightfully made anthology movie! It arrives only on HBO Max near the end of February; the initial release was in theaters and the festival circuit in 2021. Director Cameron Crowe’s new venture, Almost Famous is a rock & roll movie. The classic movie returns to streaming services in February exclusively on Hulu. The movie is a semi-autobiographical account that follows Crowe’s stint during his teenage years when he was a writer for Rolling Stone. The movie stars Patrick Fugit in the role of a music journalist, the young man tours the USA with a rock band all with the hopes of being able to get his first-ever story published. The film is a good view into what went on in the background of rock bands during their concerts, groupie, and fans.
