Download LG drivers, and LGUP. Make sure that you have the latest version downloaded and installed
Download and Install LGUP.msi on your computer from which you are initiating the rooting from.
Press and hold the volume up key while you power off your phone.
Connect your phone to the computer by using USB cable.
Switch the phone to download mode.
Open LGUP software on your computer
Now select Upgrade Option.
Select your already downloaded KDZ firmware file.
After opening, Click the start button to start the installation.
Wait for the process to complete.
It should reboot automatically, if not reboot from your end.
